GFYAA 2025 FALL FOOTBALL

Established in 2014 GFYAA is a feeder program for Granite Falls High School. Our mission is to provide an environment for growth, learning and discipline, while teaching skills that matter.

What to Expect:

We have 4 Divisions

Peewees - ages 7-8 by 6/1/2025
Midgets- ages 9-10 by 6/1/2025
Juniors- ages 11-12 by 6/1/2025
Seniors- ages 13-14 by 6/1/2025

The 2025 Fall Football Season fee is $400 - *limited scholarships available to cover registration fee of $200 only*** please reach out to [email protected] for a scholarship application

Registration Fee $200(includes game day jersey)

Equipment deposit $100 - (added during checkout ) - this deposit will be refunded at the end of the season upon return of all borrowed gear including helmet, pants, practice jersey and pads Unreturned gear will result in athlete not being permitted (INELIGIBLE) to play in the league in following seasons.

Volunteer deposit $100 - (added during checkout )- this deposit will be refunded upon volunteer hours completed - every family is required to volunteer 4 hours during the season

You can pay in full or pay a deposit

A deposit of $201 will be due at checkout and the remainder can be paid up to the close of registration

Season Dates-

Gear Fit/Handout- June 7th & June 8th - ALL FEES MUST BE PAID TO RECEIVE GEAR
Football Conditioning- July 15th, 16th, 17th, 22nd, 23rd, 24th
1st Day of Practice - July 28th (M- F 6-8pm )
Practices go to Tues, Wed, Thurs 6-8pm starting 1st week of September
1st Game Aug 23rd (8 games in total ) times & location TBD
No Game on Labor Day weekend
1st round of playoffs - October 25th
Semi Finals- November 1st
Championship- November 8th
Gear Return November 9th

Granite Falls Youth Athletic Association ("GFYAA") Payment Policy

Fees for all GFYAA sports must be PAID IN FULL prior to gear fit of the sport that the athlete is registered for (exact due date will be determined at the sole discretion of the GFYAA Board of Directors). Unpaid fees will result in the athlete not being permitted (INELIGIBLE) to participate in the sport, including practices and/or games/matches).

If you wish to pay via check you MUST mail your check in to GFYAA within (7) days of this registration submittal or your registration is subject to cancellation without prior notice. Any checks should be payable to GFYAA and mailed to PO Box 282, Granite Falls, WA 98252 . A $35 fee will be assessed on all returned checks.

Granite Falls Youth Athletic Association ("GFYAA") Refund Policy

Refunds will only be issued before registrations close for a given program. A refund can be issued in full (minus the nominal SportsConnect processing charge – currently $3) by e-mailing [email protected].

After registrations close, registrations are sorted into teams and uniforms are ordered. If you wish to request a refund after registrations close, a written e-mail should be sent to [email protected]. Your request will be considered on a case by case basis by GFYAA’s executive board, including circumstances of the request. If a refund is granted, the cost of the uniform will be deducted from the refund (and you most certainly can have the uniform). The nominal SportsConnect processing charge will be deducted as well (currently $3).

Should the season be cancelled for any reason, the refunds will automatically be processed.

In no circumstance will the minimal registration processing fee charged by the registration provider, SportsConnect, be refunded, as this is not something GFYAA has any control over or sees any remuneration of.

Refunds that are awarded will be returned in the following ways:

Credit Card Return - If a parent paid for the registration in question using a card, we will endeavor to return the amount to that card's account minus any fees stated above. In some cases, usually due to when the payment is made to the time the refund is made, we may be unable to refund via credit card. In that case, we will return via check.
Check - If a parent paid for the registration in question using a check or cash, we will cut a check to be mailed to the person that registered the child at the address we have on file. This process can take up to 2-3 weeks, although we endeavor to handle sooner. All checks must be cashed within 90 days or they will be considered void and will not be re-issued without payment of a $35.00 stop payment fee that GFYAA's bank charges us.
